Description
The winter season is prime time for hunting predators, including wild cats and wolves. Among the three wild cats, the Canadian Lynx stands out as the most majestic. British Columbia is the only province in Canada where you can legally harvest a Canadian Lynx, and the best place to do so is in the northern part of the province, where Snowshoe hares—its primary food source—are abundant. We primarily hunt Lynx by calling, mimicking the sounds of the Snowshoe Hare. Early mornings are spent searching for fresh tracks to set up calling stations. Lynx hunting demands patience, but when everything falls into place, the reward is a stunning, prime-pelted mature tom. *5 day hunts or combo with wolf for 7 days.
