Description

Experience an exciting 3-day Merriam’s turkey hunt in the scenic hills of New Mexico. This hunt focuses on targeting roosted birds as they fly down at first light, hunting against trees and from strategically placed blinds. Merriam’s turkeys are known for their striking white-tipped fans and responsive gobbles, creating an unforgettable spring hunting experience in beautiful mountain terrain. Each morning begins before daylight as we set up near roost sites to intercept gobbling toms. Throughout the day, we’ll use calling techniques and carefully planned setups to bring birds into range, whether sitting against trees in classic run-and-gun style or waiting patiently in blinds along travel corridors.
