Description

Roosevelt elk hunting on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia is a rare and highly sought-after opportunity centered in dense coastal rainforest, steep terrain, and logged cutblocks. The Roosevelt elk—the largest elk subspecies—were reintroduced to the region and now thrive in the mild, wet coastal environment. Success requires patience, strong woodsmanship, and close-range tactics such as still-hunting and calling during the rut, as visibility is often limited. When drawn, hunters can experience a challenging but rewarding coastal hunt for one of North America’s most impressive big-game animals.
