Description

Hunt Western Tanzania in one of the most wild and special places eastern Africa has to offer. The Rungwa River is one of Tanzania’s last true big-game wilderness areas, bordering the world-renowned Ruaha National Park and forming part of a vast, unfenced ecosystem rich in dangerous game and classic East African plains species. This is authentic Tanzania, 100% pure Africa — remote, demanding, and uncompromising. Safaris here are measured in effort, skill, and patience, not convenience. This concession in Rungwa is operated with a clear philosophy: low pressure, ethical hunting, and classic African standards. Free-range, fair-chase concessions with highly experienced Professional Hunters and trackers. Small & exclusive camps with emphasis on quality over quantity. Ethical hunting that directly supports conservation and local communities. The terrain & habitat is a diverse landscape comprised of Miombo woodlands, open savannah, rocky hills and escarpments as well as dense riverine forest. Seasonal rivers such as the Mpera River are acting as natural game corridors. The outfitter focuses on dangerous game safaris, extensive tracking on foot, true wilderness hunting with no fences or no artificial concentrations. It is a classic East African experience, conducted to professional standard. Rungwa is particularly renowned for its dangerous game and exceptional trophy quality. Lion with strong potential for large, dark-maned males. Stocky heavy leopard males. Cape buffalo – mature, hard-bossed bulls with excellent spread. Sable and roan antelope as well as greater kudu and Topi. Other plains game species include eland and hartebeest. This is a true wild African 10-day Cape Buffalo safari guided 2on1.
