Black bear hunts take you to the remote, rugged coastlines of Southeast Alaska. Based from the M/V Denali, hunters travel by skiff to reach prime bear country along the shore and near-coastal fringe. Days are spent spotting and stalking powerful coastal black bears in their natural, untamed habitat—an authentic backcountry experience for serious hunters.

The M/V Denali, A 50’ aluminum motor vessel, built by Sound Craft Marine, serves as basecamp for the hunts.

Bear hunts are coastal hunts, based on our vessel, the M/V Denali. We will use skiffs to spot and access the coastline area and near coastal fringe.
Transportation (To/From Basecamp)
Skiffs will be used to move to and from shore and a full round trip is included by float plane for initial fly in and out.

Description
This is a spring hunt and can be cold in Alaska. Hunter should be prepared with moderate to cold weather hunting gear-layering systems are recommended. This is a spot and stalk hunt so comfortable and durable boots are a must. Outfitter will supply sleeping accommodations on the boat and cots and tent for camp. Full gear list is available when booked from outfitter.
