Description
The bear population in this area is thriving, with a great deal of color phase variation. These hunts are truly exceptional, set in beautiful, rugged terrain. The outfitters conduct the hunt in the same way they hunt elk, so hunters can expect to hike, climb ridges, and spend hours glassing the landscape. This is a spot-and-stalk style hunt, with an average of 1-2 bear sightings per day. The hunt takes place across 22,000 private acres and is a fully guided 5-day 2:1 hunt, with the option to hunt 1:1 for the same price! To be eligible to purchase a license, hunters must pass a free Black Bear Identification course. Please note, there is an additional license cost for archery hunters.
